    COVID-19 Safety Precautions for Tours

As always, supporting the health, wellness and safety of our residents, people and community is our top priority. This is especially critical at this time of increased risk with the threat of COVID-19 in Alberta. The Cambridge Manor team will be continuing to support your inquiries about the care and services available for seniors at Cambridge Manor. However at this time, in the interest of both your health and safety, and the health and safety of our residents and team, we will be supporting your inquiries with precautionary measures in place that are in line with the current public health guidelines.

    • We continue to book individual guided tours by appointment only for limited sized groups of visitors (maximum of 4 visitors per group). No drop-in tours can be accommodated.
    • All visitors (including visitors coming for a tour) are required to show proof of full immunization for COVID-19 (must be 14 days past second dose), OR must undergo a Rapid Test with a negative result. Rapid tests are available on site (please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tour appointment) or you may show proof of a privately paid Rapid Test negative result completed within the past 72 hours.
    • We continue to conduct mandatory screening for everyone entering our sites (in accordance with the Chief Medical Officer of Health Orders for continuing care).
    • All visitors are required to wear a mask at all times when inside our sites (with the exception of when seated in designated areas for the purpose of consuming food or beverages).
    • We continue with enhanced cleaning practices and adhere to hand-hygiene and other important prevention methods (i.e. physical distancing and not shaking your hand upon greeting).
    • We encourage correspondence to be undertaken by phone and email as much as possible, and will be limiting our in-person meetings at the present time. This is includes new resident admission processes that are now available to be completely electronically.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We continue to closely monitor the situation, and will communicate any further changes to our services or availability as necessary.
